More than ten years after the original proposal by Maldacena, holography, also known as "AdS/CFT duality", "Gauge/Gravity duality" or "Maldacena's conjeture", has avanced enormously on its formulation, and has arrived to the stage of application to systems of phenomenological interest.

The idea of these lectures is to provide material and to promote discussion on some of the applications of the duality, in particular to the description of Fermi liquids in the strongs coupling regime, superconductors, and quark-gluon plasma.

The lectures will be primarily oriented to Ph.D. students and posdocs, interested researchers are also welcomed.
